Almost 8.500 people asked for help
Nearly 8,500 help-seeking people from all over Germany contacted the Prevention Network “Kein Täter werden” (Don’t offend) until the end of September 2017. 2,655 people travelled to one of the sites for diagnosis and advice, 1,418 of them could get an offer to take part in the therapeutic approach. 804 participants have started the therapy, 320 successfully completed. 285 currently take part in treatment and around 80 take part in aftercare at one of the sites.
Those who couldn`t take part in diagnosis and treatment at one of the sites, for instance due to large travelling routes, and those who can’t participate because of factors which impeded the participation in the therapy program (e.g. severe mental disorders, drug addiction et cetera), were offered alternatives according to individual needs.
